From the airport
By public transport: take bus 8 euros from the airport until its final station and there change to metro line 3, towards the other final station. Get off at Nyugati pályaudvar and there head to the direction „Váci út”. This should take you around an hour.
Whats nearby
First of all you can find the big shopping centre, Westend City centre just across the road.
For fresh food you just need to cross the road and enter Lehel Csarnok where you find a food market.
Besides being very central, this area is very much loved due to its closeness to the riverside and therefore our beloved Margharet island.
The Parliament and St Stephen’s Basilica is nearby as well.
Andrassy avenue is one of our main historical attractions,and leads you to Heroes Square and the Citypark. In the citypark you can find our most popular spa, Széchenyi fürdő and the Zoo.
Public transport
Most tourists decide to walk around the city instead of taking public transport, but should you prefer public transport, our main tram and metro line is just a few minutes walk from the hostel. Our main traim line (tram 4 and 6) operates 24/7 so you will not get stuck nowhere.

WHERE WE ARE
Our hostel is located in less than 5 minutes walk from the Western train station, in the 13th district, by the main boulevard. Public transportation to the hostel is tram 4 and 6, and the blue metro line. The biggest shopping center in Hungary is just opposite the hostel (Westend City center) and the main sightseeing attractions are easily accessible by foot.
The island of Margit-sziget, one of Budapest’s largest parks and recreational areas, is within 1.7 km from the hostel, while the bank of the Danube river is 1 kilometre away
